August 9th's Fair performance, seemed quite well received and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We unveiled our new song to the masses entitled, "If all the world were paper and all the water sink". A lil' shakey but finished quite nicely leaving that soft taste of satisfaction in one's mouth.

To belate the topic no further, we are to have our final performance (again) on Saturday August 23rd at the College Coffee House. Which humorously enough housed our last final performance as well. Mayhaps we'll have similar fortune down the line and reunite, no one knows. Specifically us. Happy we are to see EJ and Jack travel off to the East Coast for furthered education at UMass and internationally abroad. Chad and myself will continue to work on new things and people. So keep the ears peeled.

Clucking Blossom was well...Clucking Blossom. Everything you could want and more. Music straight from 12-12+, free food, art stations to make your own clothing designs, goat drawn carriage rides!, rain, sunshine, Rainbows...it was just near perfect. And we're extremely appreciative of everyone that worked their way to the inside stage for out set despite the glorious weather just outside the window/doors. (~and of course sticking with us through my amp difficulties~) The current future of events for us in uncertain, but I imagine we'll have at least one last shindig before Jack heads off in July for UMass. Hopefully moreso than that, maybe a jaunt down to Anchorage. Either which way keep the ears open for plenty of grandiose concerts to take place this summer, with or without us:::
25-4-08
Saturday's events went off rather well. The attendance was on the lower end, but the grandness of everything is the fact that those whom came showed a glorious trend of staying for the entirety of the show. What a concept! I was ecstatic to see that at the very end of the concert after Dapsbefalen had finished tearing apart the stage there were still well over half of the audience there! Not too shabby as we began the concert at 7:30. Makes one smile. There was an extrememly positive article done in the Sun Star by Phil Hokenson. I can't thank him enough for the fine journalism.
Every artist for the evening really came in full form a put on some truly remarkable performances. My favorite may have been the very beginning of the evening with Rebecca Menzia opening the show in true 19th century fashion. Her voice constantly becoming more refined as each performance goes by. Aging like a fine wine to sound cliché. Until Death thoroughly kicked off the audience's dance-like enthusiasm. I've heard some people remark sourly on these guys' stage presence, saying it's 'too showy' or they have too much posing, but come ON they play metal. An over-the-top genre, so why not pose the night away? Bottom line I love these guys' show, they get the audience going as they are matching the crowd's intensity, setting pace so to say. M-Tentacles took stage thereafter, laying a fine fuzz upon the crowd. At times these boys seem as if they are not in time with another, not playing parts that are together. But then they zoom right back into place with some perfectly synchronized action and one is confirmed these guys are right on point. Some wonderful progression these boys have had over these couple years. The reunion of Terror Train Orchestra was aticipated appropriately and they laid everything to a industrial wasteland. With over a year's hiatus under their belt, there was no rust to be found. Some oldies and a new song has securely notched TTO back into the scene's mind's eye. Glory be to this. We took the stage, accompanied by a visual aid via myself of vintage cartoons from the late 20's to the 50's. Little psychedlica added and we had ourselves a formiable teammate for the evening. From words of the audience, our performance went over extremely well and we garnered a few new fans in the process, hashaw. To end the evening Dapsbefalen ate the stage and shit out a parchesee board and game pieces. Circle pit'ed the audience soaked it all up and gave it back 5x. Just great, great, great. Next time we'll give the Dog Musher's Hall another go. Have a couple less bands and a little more of this and that.
Our next performance will be at the free all-day festival, Clucking Blossom. I would love to see everybody there as this is not an event to be missed at all. There's two more fundraisers to happen before the May 17th festival. One tomorrow, April 26th, at the College Coffee House at 7pm and another the following Saturday (May 3rd) at the Lacey Street Theatre downtown. It will be grand to have an actual theatre for a genre from here on out. So hit up the shows and keep your ears and eyes peeled for future summer endeavors and random guerilla shows outside:::

Until Death has been slung upon the roster to make a thick line-up, but one of haste as we will plan to be through by 10:30. Grand times, grand times:::
30-3-08
Hiatus completed and we're on our way...I believe. At least we have fire under us with the application of our show on April 19th! And a show it is to be! With the likes of Dapsbefalen and Terror Train Orchestra on the bill I believe all is well. Or at least will be as soon as we see that voluptuous Keytar of Matt's. Glory, glory. Here's the information pertaining to Saturday's fiasco:::

28-2-08
The 15th show went off rather well, peeelenty of lights to go around. Attempts at some ideas and success for others. Meat Locker had their last concert, after only 2 excursions into the scene. Alas, so it goes. I imagine some reforming of sorts with a few o' the members. Wayward Space Cadets did a magnificant job to say the very least. They drew themselves quite the crowd and rocked accordingly. They had a new song, "Onward" which I caught on camera if one is interested. M.Tentacles unveiled the 5th installment of their epic Hi-Tech Mystical Forest Journey, ever as epic as ever. We had ourselves a grand ol' sendoff to our hiatus, a vid of "Escape from Shark Lake" is available. Lastly, but surely not leastly Paper Scissors finished off the evening playing a nice slew of their repertoire. Ending their set and giving Isaac less than 24 hours to scurry everything together and get on the plane to New York. We wish him well. And we thank everyone whom came to the show, as always, always appreciated. We have a humongo set of shows being planned for the beginning of April. Lil' bit o' Anchorage, little bit o' Fairbanks. It's to be grand.
27-1-08
Saturday's concert went quite, quite well. More than I expected with a change of venue happening on Wednesday and -35F temps. But all pulled out rather nicely. Rebecca Menzia opened up the show wonderfully with some looped-folk ala vocal extravaganza and Kotos Sighting flew nicely through their set, playing a new song even that involved some grindcore beats. Oh man, oh man. Made my day just with that song, let alone the rest of their set. Afterwhich we took the stage and had a fun time assessing a playlist as we played. Minimal friction, but in my eyes it's just what happens when the pressure gets a little sticky.
We have our first February show set-up for the 15th at The Tribal Hall (Chena River Conventional Center) with the likes of::: The Wayward Space Cadets
M.Tentacles
Paper Scissors
and
us
This is looking to be Paper Scissors last show for awhile as Isaac is going to work his happy self over to New York for a change o' paste. They will also have their new cd for sale too! We will too! So I recommend bringing a couple extra bucks to snap up both of the albums as I'm sure they will sound wondrously side-by-side. We're also looking to play some shows around Alaska besides Fairbanks. So if you have a house party, concert, festival or just a town that could use some new music coming through let us know so we can try to work our way over.

Man-o'-man. Unsure as to how it would actually turn out, put simply not quite planned, the spectacle took place wonderfully. 10 bands in 5 hours and not really too many hang-ups. Sweating Honey played a marvelous departure show as they are now on the Colorado slopes giving everybody a splendid piece of Fairbanks. The Wayward Space Cadets really surprised those who showed up on time to the show, of quite a few, a warmly welcomed addition to the scene. Chris Watcom covered while I fiddled with my dead pedal board (making for an interestingly fun transition). 58 Roadsigns had a fun little blast through some old material for a reunion show and Aces and 8's do like they do and leave everyone warmed to the core via Rockabilly embers. Hashaw! As well the return of the Tribal Hall (Chena River Conventional Center) was recieved grandly on a large scale I believe. Tis truly nice to be in the hall as it has housed some amazing show from the past. The rest of the night flew on nicely with a great attendance and a fair number sticking around till the end to see Slippin' Mickeys and M.Tentacles close the evening. The perfect show to close off the year.

Made possible by you

Man, dearly lordeth, oh man. Friday's show was spectacular, fit the bill X2 and then some. I seriously couldn't be much happier with how the whole shindig went down. Everything was just smooth and floated on by at a wondrous pace.
Nothing was rushed as the show didn't actually begin until roughly 8:20, but the crowd already accumulated by that point remained entertained via themselves as grand conversation broke out at all corners. We took the opening slot to get things started and we soared through a tight set leaving us all the more fulfilled with our progress since our reunion. Aces and Eights gave the show that splendid aftertaste that always takes place whenst Rockabilly is involved. M. Tentacles followed up with easily the best performance they've done to date. Greater dynamics and effects used with an extraordinarly high success rate. Then as the surprise closer Paper Scissors came and finished off the night as only they know how.
Each band's performance...grand. Crowd's participation....even grander. End result....a concert for the ages.

Thank you all who came and made it what it was:::
25-11-07
Anchorage, despite the numerous uberous technical difficulties...was quite fun. Coupled with the statistic of every band pulling through them with flying colors; it was a grand evening. Especially glad I was to finally see The Smile Ease who were just as enchanting as originally expected. The Hoons did their deed and Kotos Sighting slid on through 3 songs to the sound of, "clap...clap...clap,cla-clap, clap clap". Hopefully we'll be getting all those chaps up here in due time, I mean how can we deny the A-town some grand ol' Fairbanks shindigery? Up next and soon we have:::
Friday, November 30th
at the Dog Musher's Hall
w/
Aces & Eights
&
M. Tentacles
It all starts at 7:30 and will roll on wonderfully through the evening. $3 for the whole fiasco. We're stoked to see you all there.
7-11-07
Quickly to be noted on just a few things:::

1. We're playing another show down in Anchorage, stoked? It's going to be a wondrously sensory-peaked evening
w/ The Hoons, The Smile Ease and Kotos Sighting
November 16th @ The Downstairs (Club M) 7pm/$7
Expect much flow~

2. Our 2nd EP, "Life at the bottom of the sea" just got out of the oven and I think we have our best recordings/works to date. The EP should be available through iTunes at some point. As well we'll be putting some up on myspace for your listening pleasure. The tracks are:::
3.Come check out our first bar fandaglin' this Friday at the Marlin. Tis for a grand cause and there's a great run of bands playing.
Hope all are having a wonderful time.
22-10-07
Well things have been moving at a rate of happiness and we couldn't be happier. Our show in Anchorage with Strept, Lavoy and Nitengale went amazingly. According to Strept it was one of, if not the, largest crowd they had ever garnered at The Downstairs (Club M). So we thank you all for all, bands and fans alike. Sarena (whos taken many a-pictures of us over the years) let us sleep on her floor and we couldn't have been more thankful (we're not really much of planners sometimes). IHOP'ed in the morning and then we were off on our venture back to Fairbanks, full of ice n' tunes.
Back home we've been spending even more superb quality time in the studio with Stephen, and let me tell you this guy knows his recording (insert word of knowledgeablity). At this point we are almost complete with our two songs and the results will literally blow your mind (mine is splattered all over the back of my chair). These fine recordings as well as some done with 10th Planet will be used to hopefully garner us a spot at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.
*Keep your fingers warm and crossed*
Lastly we had a show at the Dog Musher's Hall this last friday with Thought Trade and Kotos Sighting. Due to some intense, intense snowing (which I am partly grateful for) and this that and the other the attendance wasn't optimal. But the flow of the show was something we have never experienced. It was a true night of post-rock weightlessness. Expect many a-shows to be done with Kotos in the future. The people who did come as well were outstanding, completely getting enthralled with the music and we couldn't have been happier. Great time had by all and we thank all~
We have our first "bar" show at the Marlin on November 9th (Friday). It's going to be a benefit for Sex Victims in the Congo as well as the Women's shelter here in town. The show starts at 10pm and is going to be:::
Bac' Untry Bros.
This Door to Remain Closed During Work Hours
Chaos Mojo Project
3 Chord Ho!
So come out, get tipsy and see us and support a more than worthy cause. We hope to see you all there (whom can go of course...)
2-10-07
Yet another successful fandangling in the realm of the College Coffee House. Our last it could be, but pleasing it was to those attending. New visualistics discovered and soon to be harnessed for proper overload of the optical senses.
Much to be talked about though as we have our first concert down in Anchorage and it's looking to be quite the extravaganza (as if we were ever to not have an event be an extravaganza). Details:::
October 13th @ Club Millenium Bottom Floor
w/ Lavoy, Strept, Kotos Sighting, Nitengale
starting time...7pm? I'm actually not quite sure. Buuut if you're from Fairbanks and your coming down, let us know! And we'll make sure alllll is well.
We as well have a show once we get back at the lovely Dog Musher's Hall:::
October 19th
w/ Kotos Sighting, Thought Trade (tentative), more
This is sure to be a post-rock-ish extrordinaire, if all goes well (which...it shall) then we will have another wonderous band thrown on top to mix the almagamation put forth.
Lastly, we just entered the studio last night with Stephen Pettyjohn of Nitengale and it's looking to be the most fruitful of recordings to date. DIFFERENT, as we are attempting single instrument recording as opposed to our traditional live recording set-up. We got all of Chad's tracks recorded and soon we'll blaze through the rest, snazzzzz it up and call it good. Shirts soon too on the way, grand:::
28-8-07
Quick this message may be, but we all just wanted to thank every single person/being/organism that came to our Dog Musher's Hall show on the 24th. You all made it such a wonderous event, that we won't forget. Warmest of receptions despite slight abnormalities (mainly my out o' tune aaah's near concert's end). We have another show taking place in little over a month's time:::
September 29th @ The College Coffee House
This concert is to be a $free$ one as all our CCH gigs go as well we'll have our cd with us for consumption for those who feel the urge (and we do urge). Lastly, we're in the works of putting together some Anchorage show(s) with the likes of Strept and Lavoy. Fun? fun...
2-8-07
Dear Lordith much has past and we are back! Glory be everything is it's sposed to be. After well over a years time we all gathered together and our instruments spoke and spoke well no less. Rust was minimal and thusly we blazed through 5 of our tunes and cancelled one indefinitely.
Grand be it! GRAND be it!
Even grander be the fact of this, our first show back:::
August 24th @ The Dog Musher's Hall
This is to be "? Records" first annual End o' Summer Grandtasim. The bands that will be also joining along with us is ::
  • M. Tentacles
  • Nitengale
  • The Riot
  • The Scurvies
The line-up is slightly tentative due to some job complications, but rest assured that all will be well and...of course, grand.
    3-1-07
Be it a good year for all as ours has started off on the perfect footing. Our new cd, "Achieve Albeit an Absence", is DONE! In my hands and is available for all to own through this website. We have the paypal button on the first page as well as in the music section. As well it should be available on Amazon.com in awhile (but we'd prefer either ya getting it through us as amazon sorta takes all the money for the availability it offers). For those in Alaska. The cds are to be sent up today or tomorrow and WILL be at Pirate Records by the beginning of next week, as well maybe at Fred Meyer's if the possibility is there. It's quite the dazzling package and we hope that all who get it love every minute of it as we do. To those not in Alaska, as I am on my promotion road trip, you MAY just find the cd in your local store...doubtful be this circumstance, but one never knows the possiblities. I wish all a wonderful year to come, as it only can be.
    30-12-06
Just a quick note that our label, ? Records, site is up and running. Not completely done, but nonetheless all the more professional looking, aye? Maybe not...In other news CD's ARE DONE! I just have to travel down to Fife, Wa to pickup the cds from the pressing plant. Looking forward to seeing the package in it's completeness. Cds should be in Alaska within this next week and will be available from this site, the label's site and hopefully amazon.com within the next couple weeks. Joy? Joy:::
    17-12-06
Everything is done...the artwork...the mastering...the music. All that is needed now is patience and that of 2 weeks worth and our cd will be complete. If all goes as planned we'll have it not only available here, but on Amazon, CDBaby, Interpunk and hopefully a store near you as I'm going to be distributing them myself throughout the United States on my road trip.
The Mastering done by Mike Bruce at Auricle Audio brought out everything to it's fullest potential. It's really something to behold to sound as pretentious as possible. We hope all enjoi our extended labor upon this fruit. We promise it not to be a day too ripe nor a day too late. Expect much to happen as only can happen:::Keep checking back for updates of frequency.
    18-11-06
Currently in the works in a national tour {with perhaps international status added if some we can snag up some Canadian venues, aye?} that'll::
  • Take place next year
  • If all goes well it'll be with the likes of Terror Train Orchestra and/or Anchorage's The Riot
  • Involve as many local bands as possible along the way
  • (Hopefully) Last 6 months to a year covering most all of the states
  • Rocket us to stardom (I kid)

  • Obviously there's alot of work to be done, but that's currently my venture that I'm partaking in. Hitting up the dear ol' 48 of lower longitude and paving way for an incredible year to follow.
As for the cd...well time has set-in and ideas have been thrown about like british nannies to babies. I should be getting our finished product mastered this next week in Seattle if all goes well. Then all that is needed is a 1-2 week wait for the pressing of these cds to be had and out it'll be! Available here and this place and the other...it'll find its way into thoust's hands.
    09-10-06
    Pt.2!
When I was this Many is uploaded and ready to be garnered for your listening pleasures. Right.....HERE
    09-10-06
Flourishing glory to be had!::! Our new cd is going to be out (because...well it has to) by the end of the month. If all goes well we'll have the cd out on Halloween, it's going to have 6 tracks on it. 2 taken from our first album effort, though a remixin' will be done on the two songs as to brighten them up a bit. We'll as well be getting the whole sheebang mastered which I feel should really give the album a lot of overall vigor and life. Who am I to know though?!? I've never had anything mastered...all in due time. {Tenatively} we're calling this album, "Achieve Albeit an Absence" with the as well {tenative} track list as follows::::
  • Shadow Rocket
  • Exploit the Exploded
  • When I was This Many...
  • Just Another Example of Adults Transforming your Magic...into Static
  • Mr.800-11
  • Before I go to Bolivia
  • *Start and end with the click*
I (Caleb) have also started a label, "? Records", which will be housing and distributing the cd all over the US and Canada. While as well looking for distributors or labels to snag up the band, or other groups that are on the label. My road embarkment starts on Nov. 1st with no plan of coming back until my job is done. Right now I'm uploading a near completely mixed version of "When I was This Many...". Once completed it'll be all linked up in the "Music" section of the site. As well I'll be uploading the complete mixed versions of "Live from the Tunnel at the Bottom of the Sea" and "Peer Gynt" since we only have about 2 cd's left of our first album and I doubt we'll be repressing it since so much is getting put into this next album. Happy be this found music for you! Check this out:::Explosions in the Sky's First gig...enjoi.
    21-7-06
Long has it been since a refreshing of events has occured. While not much has happened to us, much has happened to our music. Our 2nd record is quickly reaching it's final destination with little more than a month or two of mixing left to be done. This will be an album of albums as we have tapped into the studio aspect a little more (nay, we still recorded everything in one live take as with the first album). This time around though, we are messing with pans, faders, FX, speakers, and reverberation specilization. Which will end up creating quite the soundscape upon completion. I'll more than likely put one song up from the new recordings soon...the rest will be left for one to explore once the cd is out. Expect to hear more about us as this year wraps to an end. Until then await the optic and sonic pleasures that are to come:::
    27-3-2006
Ok, here is my shurrah! my encompassing thoughts of our last show and thus forth. First I thank all who attended as we broke record numbers for any of our shows (not to mention we had to be near {or over} the occupancy for fire code regulations at the College Coffee House). I estimated around 150 people in attendance, but my mother assures me it had to be near 200 people if not more for the overall in and out(s) of bodies. Along with the many spectators came many photographers and even a camera-weilder or two as the below update indicates. I have yet to collect many of the photos from all of the lovely photo correspondents. After done so, I'll compile the photos and videos to make a DVD of our Last Spectacle and I expect it to turn out alright. Performance-wise I feel I dropped the ball a time or two, but the show as a whole went amazing. We sold all of our cd's practically, got rid of about 80 stickers and from the reactions and comments I've recieved since it seems we entertained the masses. I apologize for the late start as 1. we got there late as we always do and 2. for the randomness/jack's dad-esque timing with Jack's amp. Though I have nothing to complain about since I was not the ones who waited diligently for our performance to begin. Our movies were in full force as we had 3 tv's (though one wasn't plugged in----cause we used ALL the plugs available even with our 3 extra powerstrips) and a projector upon the ceiling. One Mr.Eric Lonn assisted in the lighting and general media process, we/I thank him for he's one hell of a lad. I have also made a new "section" in our music repertoire entitled "Practices a.k.a The Developing Process". I put up our two new songs with "Before I go to Bolivia" being a real shotty edit job, but still does the song justice with Che reading on. The recording of "Just Another of Example of Adults Transforming Your Magic...into Static" is quite a good representation {especially as it was recorded from a crummy built-in computer mic} and Chad has dubbed it one of his favorite recordings...or so I have heard. So enjoy a few new tracks and there'll be lots of early practice takes of "Mr.800-11" up and live tracks from The Peace Center and maybe a select few from our last concert from the 3rd of March:::::Enjoi und let bliss reign!::!
    18-3-2006
*Static tranmission bits* Here are two online vids of the Final Spectacle:::both of them excerpts {cause digital camera batteries can't handle it} When I was This Many... and Before I go to Bolivia:...:*rest of transmission inaudible*
    15-3-2006
This transmission will be short, sweet and....Our last fandangling went marvelous the attendance was amazing {with the shown patience even 7x that!::!} many documentarers were there and thus a dvd will be made of our final spectacle. Multi-angled and all:::now though I am in [Viva viva viva!] Las Vegas and the reporting and excessive work will be done after the 18th upon my arrival back to the motherland. Until then keep the happiness flowing like Mr.Toad's "Motormania"...
    2-3-2006
Upon quick discretion by the planeteers at 10th Planet Records we are going into the studio {today}!:! to record our 4 new songs before we depart out of the music scene for god knows how long or short. Either way we are quite stoked with going back into the studio [t-minus 1 hour 16 minutes] to capture our newest cumulations. One Mr.Steve Miller is going to join us in the studio for some reading as well as Ephy the violinist will be throwing down some strings for a piece or two. Shall be grand, shall be fun. See all tomorrow for the final...
    26-2-2006
Concert went relatively well considering the late start and fun. I'm pretty sure there are lots of pictures to surface within the next few days and you'll see 'em here for yours and ours convience as they come. Hopefully I'll be uploading the live songs from our set within the next couple days as long as it recorded half decently, you never know though with video cameras' mics. Upon quick hindsight I can say that Chad did an extraordinary job, really took advantage of Chris' drumset (from Recca and the band formely known as Black Second) with all it's plethora percussion glory. I wish the camera could have actually caught more of our actual show uswise (most of the recording is just people's back with our music surrounding it) as Chad was going insane I enjoyed it just from my perspective on stage, I can only imagine how it looked from the crowd's point-of-view. There seemed to be quite a few people attending the concert and I can only hope that all enjoyed. Thank you all for your attendence and attention...:::::I just listened to the show and I'm quite sorry to the audience for my "singing" on the new tune...twas quite out of tune.
    19-2-2006
So...things are a changing and circumstances are forever different, though I vouche to establish These Doors as much as I can for this music has done more for me than anything else I've ever created. I couldn't be happier with how this cumulation has gone and flourished. Most of all though I've never felt so proud of something I've been apart of simply because of all the people that constantly come up to me and tell me of how much they appreciate our music ":::::" I've never had such a gratifying feeling in my life. I. Thank. All. and I'm sure the rest of the band does. Ej will be continuing life's journey taking on many new challenges that are more than certain to enrich his life and to make him a stronger more sophisticated being. Chad will more than likely proceed on with his whimsical adventures through the States and where else he may find himself to be...Canada and beyond onward HO! Jack will be here for the remainder of his Junior year in High School, him and I should be collaborating on some works for at least my Composition project for Advanced Music Theory, and then he should be heading over to Germany for his Senior year of school for some extensive language education among his many life lessons to be learned, honed and mastered. Me, I'll be here venturing further in my Collegiate teachings, I'm currently (sort of) in the UAF Jazz Ensemble and it's been really great to have such a pushing factor to force me, so to say, learn so much more on the guitar. I'll probably go off on a lengthy road trip to the East Coast after the summer or possibly overseas to Germany to learn my roots a little more and try my hand at another language for fluency's sake. !!!!!! In more joyous news we're going to be having one last shindig after the 25th show at The Peace Center:::it's going to be on March 3rd occuring at the time of 8pm at the wonderful College Coffee House which has housed the vast majority of our shows over this near 10 month adventure. We're going to be having a _I dub them blues-ish=esque_ opening band play called Radiance and they are a really talented group and should do a great job at warming up the audience. Then we'll take the stage and play our whole repertoire with two new songs added for alls enjoyment. The visuals should be two to fourfold and to the utmost for alls enjoyment and tantilization.

CD's have found there's ways out to the people on there own! Half of our stock is gone and we haven't even played a show yet...the good fortune we have. All has changed now though as we will be playing a show on Feb. 25th at The Peace Center at 7 O'clock, we should be the second band to play for this shindig. This is to be called Peace Or Pieces and it's a charity drive with a mission (as they say themselves) and all funds will be donated to The Peace Center. So not only can you come out and here lots of good music but you can help a cause {playing as well will be Black Second, Ember, Enamorata and this Bluesy band will open}. We'll put a map up later but to get to the Peace Center you should go down to the old Carrs Building (near Big Al's Pizza) and it's supposively right next to Coin King, more information soon...

A month has past and Audie has finally gotten the live tracks to me from our Musher's Hall performance on the 22nd. EJ was out of tune for the first song so I ended up just uploading our other two songs:::which quite nicely t(urn)ed out to be our to new w[ork]s: Shadow Rocket and When I was This Many. The recordings actually turned out nicely and we thank Audie for that, but we humbly reject the smothering of Jack's guitar with effects...nonetheless the recording are much appreciated...we hope all enjoy

1..2..3..BOMB! The cd's have reached their final destination {my abode!} and now are for sale and all that slam bam bappy fun. We should be getting our stickers next week as well, so things are just streamin' on along...sort of how the River Runs Through It...The cd's will be for purchase at our shows, Pirate Records, Fred Meyer's and on this very website in which you are loitering! If you live in Fairbanks we can get them to you for $8...if you live outside of Fairbanks we need to slap a $1.25 shipping fee on. Damn raised stamp prices! The album is titled, "...almost there" and you can see the album cover in our Music section as well as buy it here, online through our Paypal account. The album is clocking in at about 54 minutes or so with only 4 tracks {nay may there be more}. Hopefully we'll be playing a show or two this next coming up month...maybe HERE maybe THERE maybe at Bitoz. Who knows?!? I'm just spedastic to see our cd finally in it's complete state of being...

The show on January 6th at CCH went (as far as we) quite well, we had a few last minute ideas that were able to come to life and I think we've finally started to accurately bring in the visual side of our work. We had a couple TV's playing Apacolypse Now and some random Polish film...Chad brought it. Seemed to keep people guessing enough as we had just as much of a clue what was going to happen as they did. We also were able to control the lighting at the show which we've never had before...had a couple colored flood lights going, seemed to spice up the atmosphere/pictures quite a bit. Which at this time we now have 55 new photos in our Soul Captures section. The photos were captured by 3 local photography cohorts::::Jane, Caitling and Sareena. We thank thee for your noble deeds. Here some good shots of the whole extravaganza and here and there. I myself was not able to get this festival on camera and thus mp3's of the event will probably be unlikely, unless someone can help me snag down a copy...aye? Any takers out there? The bounty be high for such a finding...as well Mr.Audie should be getting me mixed records of our Musher's Hall performance:::expect live mp3's up soon! 28-12-2005
Damned Hot! Last Thursday's show at the Dog Musher's Hall was simply amazing. The place was packed from beginning to end, twas quite the impressive event. Every band did zupa! to the utmost...58 Roadsigns kept the unk in punk with their always intense energy and Generally Speaking {generally speaking} blew all preconcieved notions out of the water. These guys FUNKED it up and everybody there couldn't have been happier. These youngun's have talent beyond talent and it'll be quite the pleasure to watch their music careers grow over my lifetime. Lastly we had the Muldoonies take the stage and they ripped shit up [especially considering like all of the equipment decided to shit out as soon as they got on stage]. They even covered the Arthur theme song from PBS. Truly a classic night at the Dog Musher's Hall:::the spirit is back within Fairbanks and soon will be gourged upon. There's a picture of our partaking in the event in our "Soul Captures" page thanks to Caitling Richmond. We should as well have Mp3's of the event up soon under our "Music" section. In other notables we are going to be playing a solo show at The College Coffee House on January 6th around 8 O'Clock. This will be quite the extravaganza as there will be plenty of audio/visuals to chomp all 13 of your senses into. As well we will have our cd up for purchasing and/or bartering. It'll be $7 dollas for nearly an hour of...

this door to remain closed during work hours is back and in full {original} force! Upon quick descretion we are opening for The Muldoonies 2nd year anniversary show at The Dog Musher's Hall next Thursday December 22nd at 7pm. Since we're opening I'd advise getting there sharp as a knife at 6:30 so as to not miss any action as it's turning out to be quite the evening with us, 58 Roadsigns, Generally Speaking and of course The Muldoonies. This time is most definetly for real so tell all and all tell and come on out to hear what is to be...

It's been brought to my attention through our guestbook that people don't quite know their way around the site {or perhaps they are just confused by the site "categories"} Here's a little break down of said "categories": News = Noted Events occuring to ourselves, Music = Mp3's and a discography of sorts, Biography = Synapse of our Beginning, Performances = Show Dates, Times and Locations, and Soul Captures = Bunches and bunches of pictures of us. Hopefully that clears a few things up to our general populous. Our CD tenatively titled, "Almost There" should have a release date right before Christmas time. Ho ho ho:::

Asses have been made and faces have been kicked...the open mic performance on Thursday has been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, though not at all bad::::more to come.

Waiting has come to a cease and new flowers are to be showcased! Much has happened within the last month to our endeavors. We have lost a petal but quickly regrown lost appendage. This new appendage goes by the name of Todd...Todd Vorisek. Through the helpful eyes and ears of Pat Fitzgerald {of 10th Planet Records for whom we recorded with} we have come to the acquiring of Todd and we thank thee! After only a mere 2 weeks Todd is chomping upon the bit and is ready to take on the act of LIVE! So to cure his hunger [as well as our own] we will be displaying a new piece to the masses at the College Coffee House's monthly open mic night on Thursday December 1st around 8:30ish. So please come all and one to this event as our Hiatus will soundly be trumped and thrown out the door. Expect many more shows to take place as time goes on...for there are far more fruits to be enjoyed, then that of just the taking!

*Static* {Connectivity established} The mixing process is DONE! All of our fruits have been blended to our liking and now all we have left to do is press our work. The previous mentioning of a December release is looking correct, thus I Nostradamus! On the other side of the hippopotamus we have this kean little revolving picture above the news....pretty ga-narly huh? No, well then you can check out our new pics, we've got like 60+ new ones; gag me with spoon. All of the pictures are either acredited to Chris Muerlott or the Jane known as Elizabeth Smith and her cohorts....we thank thee!

After much deliberation I decided to put up the half mixed version of "Exploit the Exploded" for two reasons. First so everyone out there can really get a feel for what we have accomplished so far musically, this is a much loungier song so to say. Secondly....I'm broke and mixing is $$$. Anyway this will be the mp3's that stay up for quite sometime now. We'll have an actual cd released in December it's looking like which will have all of the songs in their final mixed state of mind...so enjoy another necturnal nectite.

We have {at least for the time being} put up the [near] complete mp3 of our epic "Mr.800-11". We all are really quite pleased and proud of how our fruit bloomed in this growing process...so please download our pride and joy and get ready for a ride and a half or whatever 18 minutes adds up to...

Website is now up, please everyone synch thousts' watches and internal clocks:::these doors to now take over the world and your mind. Twill be lovely though as we pride ourselves on care...We were able to finish our recording for our first cd before Chad left back on the 25th of August. Currently we're in the midst of mixing this delightful concoction and will post the finished mixes once they're done. Currently we have 3 songs for download two with no mixing and then our first performance at the College Coffee House.....enjoy our fruits and feel free to drop us a line....
